Python

Python is a high-level programming language first released by Guido van Rossum in 1991. Python is designed around a philosophy which emphasizes readability and the importance of computer effort over programmer effort[citation needed]. Python core syntax and semantics are considered minimalist, while the standard library is considered large and comprehensive[citation needed]. Community practices in Python programming have led to the recognition of a Python philosophy.
